Sue Carlin lives and paints in Stow, Massachusetts. Her colorful florals, swirling landscapes, and vibrant portraits are reminiscent of the works of Van Gogh and Matisse. Sue is a founding member of Out of the Blue Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has had many solo and group exhibitions in the Boston area.

Originally from Connecticut, she studied painting with Frank Corvino in Fairfield, CT and later graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a degree in fine arts. Upon moving to the Boston area, Sue continued painting and opened a gallery in Cambridge with Tom Tipton, a local photographer. For six years they have held exhibitions for hundreds of local artists at their gallery and at twelve other area businesses where the work is changed monthly. Sue’s work has also been exhibited through Rosenbaum Fine Arts in Florida and has been shown at art expos in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
